Description
The Cooper Discoverer HT3 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model has some special trailer sizes available as well. The tire promotes great all-weather traction. The special symmetric tread design with the 3D micro-gauge siping detail boosts the dry, wet and winter weather traction. Cooper offers a 50,000-mile treadwear warranty with this tire model. The Discoverer HT3 offers a fuel-efficient drive. The combination of the stronger construction and the silica compound eases the driving pressure off the tire, effectively decreasing the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion.
- The Cooper Tire company has been making quality tires at affordable prices for almost 100 years in the United States. Founded in 1914 as M&M Manufacturing Company in Akron, Ohio, the company produced patches, cement, and repair kits for tires. In 1920 the company acquired Giant Tire & Rubber Company, and moved their headquarters to Findlay, Ohio, and began making tires. During World War II the company supplied tires for the Allied Forces and was awarded the Army-Navy ‘E’ Award for their contribution to the war effort. In 1946, the name was officially changed to Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.
- If you need a sturdy tire that provides your working vehicle with toughness and reliability, choose the Cooper Discoverer HT3. This commercial tire combines a silica tread compound, circumferential grooves, and variable density and deep siping. These features work together to give your utility pickup truck or full-size van all-season grip with enhanced wet traction.
- The tire also has increased lateral slots for better snow traction. For increased toughness and tread life, the tire features a continuous shoulder rib that minimizes irregular wear. These features help the Cooper Discoverer HT3 commercial tire to resist weather and wear, making it a dependable choice for work trucks and vans. 50,000 miles treadlife warranty.
