- The All-Season tread compound includes silica for better wet pavement handling, combines with a symmetrical tread pattern for increased dry and wet pavement traction. The steering on the tire is responsive due in part to the center rib. Four circumferential grooves enhance grip during rainy weather. These grooves also channel away from under the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Added lateral grooves are created to improve performance on snow covered roads. Inside the tire you will find two steel belts that are reinforced with nylon for added strength and increased stability at higher speeds, while polyester body plies further add to ride comfort.
