Description
Hercules Raptis R-T6
OVERVIEW
The Hercules Raptis R-T6 is a high performance, all season tire designed for passenger cars and SUVs. Hercules offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
Great performance and handling are offered with this tire. The model maintains surface contact throughout the drive, enhancing the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands. Additionally, the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder block placement enhances the cornering ability. These blocks provide additional biting edges, which grip the road surface during maneuvering. This combination ensures the driver’s control over the vehicle at all times.
The all season performance is ensured with the ideal tread design and the all season compound. The optimized tread design keeps the surface contact in versatile weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. They increase dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. On the other hand, wide grooves prevent hydroplaning. They eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to protect the tire against slipping in wet situations.
The Hercules Raptis R-T6 offers a longer-lasting tread life. The ideal tread design works with the durable compound to provide slow and even wear. Footprint stability maintains surface contact and helps prevent tread flexing. As a result, the tire avoids irregular wear by preventing pressure accumulation along the tread area. On the other hand, strong compound elements offer wear resistance, decreasing the treadwear rate. This combination greatly boosts the tire’s overall tread life length.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
