Description
The General AltiMAX RT45 OWL is a versatile Grand Touring All-Season tire for sedans, coupes, and CUVs, developed for drivers seeking a balance of all-season handling, comfort, and longevity. It also comes equipped with technology to visually alert drivers of wear issues. Visual Alignment Indicators (VAI) on the shoulder blocks wear off evenly to indicate proper alignment. General offers a 75,000-mile limited tread life warranty. The General AltiMAX RT45 OWL tire’s all-season compound is molded into a symmetric tread pattern featuring robust interlocking tread blocks for reliable handling and satisfying dry grip. Four circumferential grooves evacuate water to promote wet weather traction and hydroplaning resistance.
- General Tires was launched in 1915 and later purchased by Continental AG, a tire company based in Hanover, Germany. The purchase has since ensured General Tires can continue producing high-quality tires for the North American market, thanks to the many insights it gains through its larger parent company. General tire gains many benefits from its parenty company, and reflects that in the tires they produce.
