Description
While Yokohama’s name may be distinctly Japanese, the brand is a worldwide known tire authority and a key leader in quality and innovation. Yokohama has been producing tires since 1917, and today the brand is available all around the world. The company’s complete product line includes tires for high-performance, light truck, passenger car, commercial truck and bus, and off-the-road mining and construction applications. Driven by the needs of people, Yokohama continues to provide environmentally-compatible solutions engineered to outperform, whatever the performance need. The Yokohama AVID S33B is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. The tire promotes great all-weather traction. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced traction and the excellent hydroplaning resistance work together to promote a secure driving experience. The AVID S33B features a reinforced internal structure. The twin steel belts prevent deformation to the tire’s structure. The optimized tire structure does not deform under the driving pressure affecting the tires and ensures a secure drive. The polyester cord body keeps the tire close to the road surface, which decreases the road noise generated while the tires are in motion. Standard Mileage Warranty Tire Size: 195/65R15
