Description
American Roadstar HP A/S
OVERVIEW
The American Roadstar HP A/S is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. American Roadstar HP A/S offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire ensures a safe high speed performance. The model also promotes great high speed performance. The ideal tread design closely follows the road surface even at high speeds and prevents pressure accumulation, while the robust internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape under driving pressure. Also, the heat-resistant compound protects the tire from heat build-up along the tread area, further optimizing the tire’s high speed performance. This improves driving durability.
Consistent surface contact increases its controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread design maintains surface contact at all times. These elements effectively increase the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. Quick and precise steering responses to the driver’s commands are guaranteed, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering and braking are increased with the tread elements, offering a safer maneuvering and driving experience.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The optimized tread design keeps the surface contact in versatile weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. They increase dry, wet, and winter-weather grip. On the other hand, wide grooves prevent hydroplaning. They eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to protect the tire against slipping in wet situations.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
