Description
Doublestar Maximum DH05
OVERVIEW
The Doublestar Maximum DH05 is a performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The optimal tread design and the summer compound work together to ensure superb grip in dry and wet weather conditions. While the compound avoids heat build-up along the tread area, the tread elements increase the grip with additional biting edges. The wide circumferential grooves and the angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by channeling water away from the footprint. This combination ensures the tire’s safe summer performance.
The tread design and the durable rubber compound enhance the tire’s traction, which optimizes its fuel intake levels. This combination minimizes the rolling resistance while the tires are in motion. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain motion. This decreased rolling resistance reduces the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire more environmentally friendly.
Thanks to the maintained surface contact, steering responsiveness and driving stability are improved. This allows the tire to be quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. This combination ensures safer handling throughout the performance, allowing the driver to have full control over the vehicle.
The Doublestar Maximum DH05 variable pitch sequence decreases the road noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The siping pattern negates the sound waves generated while the tires are in motion. In other words, it ensures that road disturbances do not reach the vehicle’s cabin and ruin the passengers’ driving enjoyment. As a result, this tire guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
