Description
Gladiator X Comp H/P AS1
OVERVIEW
The Gladiator X Comp H/P AS1 is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Gladiator offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The asymmetric tread’s center ribs increase steering responsiveness and driving stability by improving road contact. The steering, in this manner, becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands. The structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The tread design’s siping detail upgrades the braking capability. These sipes create friction between the road and the tire at the moment of braking, which decreases the model’s braking distance.
The optimized tread design keeps the surface contact in versatile weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. They increase dry, wet, and winter weather traction. On the other hand, wide grooves prevent hydroplaning. They eliminate water and slush from the footprint in order to protect the tire against slipping in wet situations.
The footprint features a variable pitch pattern, which helps keep road noise low. This pattern generates a special sound frequency while the tires are in motion. As a result, the tire negates sound waves before they can reach the vehicle’s cabin and ruin the passengers’ driving enjoyment. Better comfort provides an enjoyable driving experience.
The Gladiator X Comp H/P AS1 offers exceptional driving durability. The heat-resistant compound elements work together with the reinforced internal structure to boost its performance. Stronger compound elements prevent heat build-up across the tread area, while the structure does not deform under high speed pressure. As a result, the tire can safely perform during its high speed applications.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
