Description
The Voyager GT-AS was designed for year-round touring, combining advanced all-season features to deliver reliable traction in dry, wet, and winter conditions. Its tread design enhances handling, promotes even wear, and improves fuel economy. Four wide circumferential grooves evacuate water quickly to combat hydroplaning, while the 3D shoulder groove design maintains tire shape during braking for full ground contact and even pressure distribution. Optimized pattern blocks reduce road noise and increase ride comfort, and the asymmetrical tread pattern ensures even wear while maximizing dry grip and rapid water dispersal. Lateral grooves and siping boost winter traction, enhancing braking, handling, and acceleration in snow. The middle tread pattern works with the circumferential grooves to improve steering stability at highway speeds. Even pressure distribution and increased tread block stiffness enhance handling and fuel efficiency, while the central angled block evenly disperses braking, acceleration, and cornering forces for superior performance.
- Brand: Groundspeed
- Size: 245/45R18
- Style: Voyager GT-AS
- Four wide circumferential tread grooves quickly evacuate water, improving performance in wet conditions and helping to combat hydroplaning.
- The 3D groove design on the shoulder improves dry braking performance by helping to maintain the tire’s shape while braking, allowing full contact with the ground and evenly distributing pressure.
- Multiple pattern blocks have been optimized using simulation technology to effectively reduce road noise, and increase ride comfort.
