Description
Hercules RoadTour Connect PCV
OVERVIEW
The Hercules RoadTour Connect PCV is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Hercules offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The all season performance is ensured with the ideal tread design and the all season compound. The ideal tread design and the all season compound increase the tire’s traction in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges to increase road grip, while the silica compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. They resist hydroplaning and ensure the tire’s safe performance, even on wet roads.
The model keeps noise levels reduced at all times. The optimized tread design helps to lower road noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The siping pattern negates the sound waves generated while the tires are in motion. In other words, it ensures that road disturbances do not reach the vehicle’s cabin and ruin the passengers’ driving enjoyment. As a result, this guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The tire’s controllability is ensured at all times. A close road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability. This results in quick and precise steering responses while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Shoulder blocks help to enhance the cornering ability with the use of extra biting edges. This offers great cornering and maneuvering capabilities.
The Hercules RoadTour Connect PCV offers a longer-lasting tread life. The optimized footprint and the strong compound work together to increase the service life. The even pressure circulation avoids irregular wear formations along the tread area, while the compound decreases the overall treadwear rate. The tread’s slow and even wear manner significantly elongates the tire’s service life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
