The Laufenn G FIT AS is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Laufenn offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
The tire guarantees exceptional all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the symmetric tread pattern with the multiple notches and sipes increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The four wide circumferential grooves and numerous sipes avoid hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tires footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and the superb traction ensure first-rate driving safety in all conditions.
The model offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The noise cancelling variation and the special five-pitch tread variation significantly decrease the generated road noise. They create a sound frequency that negates the road and tread pattern noise during the drive. The steel belted internal structure maintains the tires optimal shape under the driving pressure. This, along with the maintained road contact of the chamfered groove edges, lowers the road vibrations felt in the vehicles cabin while the tires are in motion. The result is an enjoyable drive.
The tires internal structure features two reinforced, wide, high tensile steel belts. They maintain the tires optimal shape under the driving forces affecting it during the drive. Furthermore, the tread designs center rib keeps the tires contact with the road at all times. These two aspects work together to enhance the models controllability in all conditions. The steering becomes quicker and more precise thanks to the better road contact, while the tire is secured during the drive against the driving pressure. The tie bars found connecting the individual tread blocks on the tires shoulders improve the cornering capability. They stabilize the tread which provides additional road grip for maneuvering.
The G FIT AS provides a longer lasting tread life. The optimized tire profile and the shoulder tie bars stabilize the tread and prevent tread flexing during the drive. The prevention of tread shifting enables the tread design to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively prevent irregular tread wear from forming on the tires surface. In this manner, the tire is usable for an extended period of time.
