Description
Petlas Velox Sport PT741
OVERVIEW
The Petlas Velox Sport PT741 is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
Summer weather traction is ensured with this model. The tire combines summer compound and asymmetric tread design in order to offer exceptional dry and wet weather performance. The model’s special heat-resistant compound enables its exceptional dry-weather traction. Ribbed elements increase the tire’s traction in dry and wet conditions. Hydroplaning is avoided since circumferential grooves disperse water from below the footprint.
Exceptional high speed durability and overall controllability are promoted. The asymmetric tread design’s surface contact improves its steering responsiveness and driving stability. It helps to increase its steering response time and accuracy, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The stronger compound decreases the tire’s braking ability, significantly shortening its stopping distance. Cornering is upgraded thanks to the additional biting edges gripping the road. The model’s high speed durability is promoted by the heat-resistant compound and durable structure.
The Velox Sport PT741 also offers high driving comfort levels. The variable pitch phase shift of the tread design helps to decrease road noise generated while the tires are in motion. This footprint negates sound waves by generating a sound-canceling frequency. In this manner, the tire offers a quiet driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
