Description
The Pirelli Cinturato Winter tire is a studless winter tire designed for small compact cars, sedans, minivans, and small Crossover vehicles. It has some of Pirelli’s most advanced winter technology to achieve maximum safety and control in all adverse driving conditions.
One of the interesting features in the Pirelli Cinturato Winter tire is the “NOW SNOW” tread depth reminder molded right into the tread of the tire. When the “W” in “NOW” wears off, the tire is no longer optimized for winter. This helps you know when to change your tire for optimal winter time performance.
The Pirelli Cinturato Winter has a tread that is heavily wiped for lots of biting edges on snow covered roads and black ice conditions. The sipes on the shoulder are zig-zag so they interlock during cornering. This type of sipe in the shoulder of the tire helps to promote tread block stability for better cornering and improved treadwear. Straight sipes through the rest of the tread ensure good snow and water evacuation from under the tread to reduce the chance of hydroplaning.
