Description
Armstrong Blu-Trac PC
OVERVIEW
The Armstrong Blu-Trac PC is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
Armstrong offers one of the best warranties in the tire industry. The brand promotes a limited 6 year warranty covering manufacturing defects. They also provide a road hazard warranty and 24/7 roadside assistance for the first 2 years after the purchase is made. Furthermore, this model comes with an 85,000 mile treadwear warranty provided by Armstrong.
The tire ensures first-rate all season traction. The detailed symmetric tread pattern with the chamfered lateral edges and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet, and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps its flexibility in different temperatures, while the tread elements increase their grip on the road surface. The tread’s wide circumferential grooves manage to avoid hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint and upgrade the wet and winter weather road gripping capability. In this manner, the tire promotes a safer year-round performance.
The tread pattern’s constant road contact upgrades the controllability. The three center ribs closely follow the road surface and improve steering responsiveness and driving stability. This gives the driver complete control over the vehicle. The shoulder tread block pattern manages to enhance the cornering capability with additional biting edges gripping the road surface. The optimal self-locking sipe system of the tread boosts the braking capacity. These sipes lock together at the moment of braking, significantly shortening the braking distance. This combination guarantees secure control over the vehicle at all times.
The tread design and the durable compound upgrade the all weather traction and ease the driving pressure off the tire. This enables the tire to lower its rolling resistance. As a result, the tire significantly decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions as it prevents heat build-up along the tread area. This promotes a fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly performance. The even pressure distribution and the stabilized tread elements also lengthen the usability. They prevent irregular tread wear formations along the tread area, boosting the usability and tread life greatly.
The Blu-Trac PC promotes a quiet drive. The tread design’s three center ribs create a variable pitch sequence which lowers the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion. The pitch sequence generates a sound frequency that negates the road and tread pattern noise levels heard while the tires are in motion, promoting a quiet and comfortable driving experience in various weather conditions.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
